The mechanics of the game are straightforward yet not easy to master. Players are provided with seven letters, arranged in six blue hexagons and one red hexagon, resembling the cells of a honeycomb. The objective is to find as many words as possible utilizing these letters, with the condition that each word must include the letter from the central red hexagon. Furthermore, words must be a minimum of three letters long, and letters can be repeated. The combination of letters changes daily, thus altering the total number of possible words. Each combination contains at least one word that encompasses all the letters, a term referred to as "tuti" by RodaMots.

The Paraulògic operates on a point system, with players gaining points each time they enter a new word. Points are directly proportional to the length of the word: longer words yield more points. Three-letter words grant one point; four-letter words award two points; and for words with five or more letters, points correspond to the number of letters in the word. "Tuti" words provide ten points in addition to the points awarded for the number of letters— for instance, a seven-letter "tuti" would be worth seventeen points. As players accumulate points, they advance through levels of achievement in the game, represented by an ornithological-inspired scale ranging from lesser to greater merit: starting with a chick, followed by a pigeon, then a duck, a swan, an owl, and finally an eagle, which signifies those players who excel and achieve the highest level of lexical accomplishment.
